While taking pictures of flowers and butterflies on an August afternoon outing at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds. I notice these geese off to the side and back of me honking and carrying on while getting ready for this takeoff. This alerted me in just enough time to get turned around and readjust the camera lens. This was the best out of the four pictures taken. Then they were off and gone to another location. As a photographer of the world around me, I am always on the lookout for a picture to capture. Chasing light, shadows and the subject are the things photography is made for. I try and hope for clean steady snaps of the shutter while capturing the moment as well as I can. These moments have become my building blocks for the roads I pave today for my tomorrows I hope to have in the future.
